running to stand still

Friday we went location scouting for the music video thing that we are actually getting paid to do. Went ok, nostalgic what with Annick, Gunnar, Hunter and I getting lost on 90/94 on a friday morning. But the guys we are working for, who continue to profess being laid back and easy to work with, give the overall old-fashioned impression of not believing that 22 yr-old women actually know what they are talking about. So annick and i left with our feathers ruffled and realizing that we have entered the real world.

Then on friday night B and I went to a bar called "Howl at the Moon." I was nervous that the bouncer at the door wouldn't let me in with only a ticket and not a license. He examined my ticket for a good long while before explaining, "I'm looking to see what exactly you did." Anyway, the bar was crowded, loud, the singers weren't very engaging...needless to say we got our cheap drinks and all left to hang out and rock the green tea at my apt.

Yesterday I hit the burbs at the last minute to visit an old friend, Dan Weintraub. My friends, Erik, and I went to Dan's to see the sad sight of his childhood home in boxes, for his parents are moving to Miami. His mom grilled food for us and we watched the Firefly pilot (I was the only one who had seen it)

Today, all I have done is catch up on sleep, play with the cat, rock the B-squared world, work on the film, shower, watch 3 episodes of 6 feet under w/B, email back and forth with Ben (Capps....I know...more later....) cook a mouth-watering meal with bryan, and cry my eyes out at the Cider House Rules...

Tomorrow: working all day (on the film while at work) but with a 2 hour break to watch The Pirate Movie with Damien, then hopefully see Annick or work on the film more with Bryan.
Tuesday: work till 3:30. Help bryan prep for wednesday and be supportive and comforting while he is drinking his colonoscopy juice. maybe see evil.
Wednesday: Take bryan to hospital, wait, take him home. Work till 6, come home and keep an eye on things.
Thursday: work till almost 10.
Friday: Prod 2 hang out all together day.
Saturday and Sunday: Lollapallooza!
Monday: all logging and transcribing is done!

Have I forgotten anything? feel like i am running in place.
